That is what we wanted our clothes to feel like.

We design from real mornings, not trends

When we started Story of Mom, we were not thinking about trends or seasons or what was “in.” We were thinking about real mornings.

The kind where you wake up already a little tired. The kind where you are holding a baby with one hand and trying to figure out what to wear with the other.

Everything begins there.

We spend a lot of time asking simple questions. What does a mother actually want to wear when she has no time. What feels good on a body that is changing. What feels easy on days that are not.

And the answers are almost always the same. Soft. Effortless. Nothing that asks too much from you.

That is why our silhouettes are the way they are.

You will not find tight zippers or stiff structure or anything that makes you feel like you need to adjust yourself. The pieces are meant to move with you.

Why we chose this fabric

The fabric had to feel right from the first wear.

We chose 100 percent cotton that is soft, breathable, and easy to live in. The kind you can wear all day without thinking about it.

It lets your skin breathe.
It feels light, even in warmer weather.
It does not demand extra care.

And over time, it only gets softer.

Because when you are healing, nursing, moving, and doing a hundred things at once, the last thing you need is clothing that feels heavy or restrictive.

This is fabric you can stay in. Morning to night.
